Before he’d even opened his eyes, James could tell it had been snowing. As he rolled out of bed to put on his slippers he noticed an envelope on his bedside table. He recognised his little sister’s handwriting immediately. “Don’t open in front of Mum and Dad!” the envelope said. He checked to make sure no one was coming before opening it up. His eyes widened as he read…
"Hi said dad "are you going to say good morning."
"Sorry g-good morning."
"What is wrong and where is your little sister? She would be down here by now it is 9 o'clock"
"She is really tired so she is still in bed."
"No, that's a terrible idea," James told himself, "do not jump out the window." But his body thought otherwise, James jumped.
He started plummeting to the ground, when swoosh, wings came out of his back. He was heading towards the place were he touched the rock.
When he was close, the wings disappeared as fast as they came. He landed on the ground with a thud. There it was, the rock that got rid of his memory. An antelope was charging towards him. He started to run, but the antelope head butted him in to the rock.
"Zzz" the rock went . A flash of lightening hit the ground and... "zzz" he was in a different world.
"Amy" he shouted "James" Amy shouted. Amy ran to James and gave him a big hug. "James I have something for you. She was holding a bottle that had a note stuck to it. It read "James' Memory". "My memory!" James said.
"Lets go" said Amy. Together they ran to the portal and jumped.
"Zzzz" they were home.
"Home" Amy said "Yeah, home" James said.
